Mobile Equipment Supervisor/Garage Supervisor

The Garage Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of all on-and-off-road mobile equipment owned, leased, and rented by the company at the facility.
Duties: o Plans, coordinates and directs the repairs and maintenance of equipment to eliminate failures and minimize downtime; includes both in-house and outsourced maintenance o Monitors and tracks equipment usage; ensures effective preventive maintenance programs including tires and wear parts o Holds dealerships and rental yards accountable for uptime of equipment; prepares capital budget requests and work/purchase orders for major maintenance and new equipment purchases o Helps forecast future equipment needs and expenditures o Ensures that all company safety and environmental policies are met including DOT, MSHA and environmental compliance o Acts as a technical advisor on equipment issues with management and fellow workers; works with corporate equipment department to ensure useful and accurate reporting o Track and ensure that CalPortland realizes all warranty applicable repairs, upgrades, and safety bulletins o Coordinates updating DMV registration and proper insurance coverage o Responsible for environmental issues relating to the garage such as the safe disposal of waste oils and liquids, used tires and any chemicals used in the repair of mobile equipment o Responsible for running and maintaining the truck wash system and the garage building with all related equipment (truck hoist, press, balancing machine, etc.
) o Responsible for spare parts selection including ordering and proper storage o Supervise, direct, schedule and train all Maintenance Department Employees to maintain quality of work performed o Coordinate work with other departments following planned maintenance schedule of mobile equipment o Maintain records, write reports, and requisition repair parts and supplies o Control cost, time, material, and use of outside contractors in the repair of mobile equipment o Maintain discipline, safe conditions, good housekeeping and conduct safety meetings #GS #CL Education: High School graduate or equivalent Requirements/Qualifications : o Demonstrated technical ability o 5 years maintenance experience o Previous supervisory experience or other reasonable position o Cement plant experience of five (5) years or equivalent o Computer literacy o Must be able to communicate effectively and get along well with others Conditions of Employment: Successful candidate must submit to post offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
